What is Diamond Blade ?

A diamond saw blade is a circular steel blade with a diamond bearing edge. The edge can have one of three configurations: segmented (SP series), continuous rim (CF series), turbo wave (TP series) or segment+wave (segment turbo).

The steel core is a precision engineered and steel disc that have slots around the disc. The key-slots (or gullets) provide lager dimension and better cooling system by from the water and air to flow between every segments. The key-slots also provide the blade space to fluctuate when cutting.

Stealth diamond saw blade cores are pre-tensioned at factory state to make sure each blade circular right at operating speeds. Tension will allows the blade remain flexible enough to bend under opperating pressure and “return” back into round.

Diamond segments or rims are made up from compressing mixture of diamonds and metal powders. Diamonds in used on segments are almost exclusive manufactured diamonds with various grit sizes and grades quality. In the frabicate process, the metal powder and diamond grit will go through a hot pressed process at high temperatures (called the bond or matrix) in which the diamond grit is retained.

The segment or rim is slightly wider than the blade core. This side clearance allows the cutting edge to penetrate through the material without steel drag. To attach the diamond rim or segments securely to the steel core, several different processes are used.
